We plan, organise and cater your event.

We take on the event management and catering for your event, whether it takes place at the Cordeshof or somewhere else in Berlin. You receive a single quote and have one point of contact who guides you through the entire planning. On the day of the event, the same team that has prepared your celebration from the outset is there on site.

Service and flying buffet at the bar in the hall of the Cordeshof

Behind the Cordeshof stands the Veranstaltungsatelier, a production team from Berlin. We plan and produce events for brands and private hosts and take care of everything, from the concept and the technical production through to kitchen, bar and staff – and by no means only here at the Cordeshof.

Most of our clients come to us for the venue and stay for the team. A great deal becomes simpler when the same person who knows the hall inside out also puts the menu together, orders the technical production and welcomes your guests at the gate in the evening. Then there is the experience: in recent years this team has produced for Amazon Prime, Marc O’Polo, Porsche, Jägermeister and Berlin Fashion Week, among others, including product launches, pop-up stores, shoots, dinners and community events.

You can book the complete package with us or only exactly what you are still missing. Perhaps you are simply looking for catering for your own venue, a production for your existing concept or a bar for your private celebration. Either way, our offer follows your occasion, and not the other way round.

How we work with you.

  1. Briefing

It all begins with an in-depth conversation of around an hour. We talk about the occasion and the aim of your event, about your guests, the budget range and the date. Right at the start, we ask you the questions that will save you time, nerves and money later on.

  2. Concept and quote

Within a week you receive a concept from us, created specifically for your occasion. It contains the idea and the running order of the event, a sketch of the spaces and a menu proposal. Alongside this comes a budget in which every single item is listed transparently. You will not find a standard package with us.

  3. Production and event day

As soon as you have approved the concept, we take over the further planning, coordinate all the trades and take care of the set-up. On the day of the event itself, our event lead is on site the whole time, from the arrival of the first lorry in the morning to the last glass at the end of the night.

Food to suit the evening.

We put our menus together specifically for each occasion rather than writing one catalogue for everyone. That is why you will not find a price per head here, but rather read what matters to us in the kitchen.

Seasonal and, wherever possible, from the region.
In May, asparagus comes to the table, in August it is chanterelles and in January, cabbage. We source meat and fish from producers we know personally. We do not see vegetarian and vegan dishes as a mere alternative, but design them as a menu in their own right.
The format follows the evening.
A flying buffet is a good choice when you want your guests to get talking to one another. Family style works well when the group already knows each other and the bowls can be passed along the table. A seated menu is advisable when the evening follows a set programme. We are happy to advise you; in the end, the decision is yours.
The bar is no sideshow.
For every occasion we are happy to create a signature drink of its own. Alongside it we pour good wines that need no three-page wine list, and draw fresh beer from the keg. We prepare the non-alcoholic drinks with exactly the same care as all the others. And the next morning there is a cappuccino that truly deserves the name.

Questions about production and catering

Does the Veranstaltungsatelier also take on events outside the Cordeshof?

Yes. Event management and catering are available independently of the venue – in Berlin, Brandenburg and, on request, across Germany. The team has produced events in halls, villas, at trade fairs and in shops; the Cordeshof is one venue among many.

What does the event management include?

Concept and dramaturgy, budget and schedule, venue search, technical production, decoration, set-up and logistics, permits, staff, catering and bar, event lead on site and take-down. You can book everything or only what you are missing.

What kind of catering do you offer?

From flying buffet and family-style tables to a set menu, plus coffee bar, cocktails and draught beer. We cook seasonally and regionally wherever possible, and write menus for the occasion – not from a catalogue. Special requests, allergies and vegan alternatives are the norm, not an extra.

Which clients has the team already worked for?

Amazon Prime, Marc O’Polo, Porsche, Jägermeister and Berlin Fashion Week, among others – launches, pop-ups, shoots, dinners and community events in Berlin and other cities.

How does a project run?

An initial conversation and briefing, then a concept with a budget range within a week. Once you have approved it, we take over planning and production with one point of contact, who is also on site on the day of the event.

What would you like to create?

Tell us what the occasion is, on which date your event is to take place and how many guests you expect. If you already have a budget range in mind, we would be glad to hear that too. We will get back to you within two working days to discuss everything else in an initial conversation.
